Keepit operates and manages its own cloud infrastructure, independent of Microsoft, Google, AWS and other public cloud providers. Copies stay separate from production and remain available even if the SaaS provider has an outage or the original environment is compromised.

Immutable by design

Backups stored by Keepit are immutable, protecting against ransomware, accidental deletion, misconfiguration and other threats. Keepit's isolated architecture prevents an attacker who compromises the SaaS environment from also altering the backup copies.

Microsoft 365 and Entra ID

Protect data and identities

Keepit protects core Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Groups and Teams. Its Microsoft Entra ID protection backs up and restores critical identity and configuration items such as users, groups, roles, enterprise applications, app registrations and conditional access policies. That extends protection beyond documents and mail to the identity layer users need to reach corporate applications and data.

Data sovereignty and control

Keepit lets you choose the region where copies are stored. Its infrastructure runs in independent, isolated regions, including data centres in the European Union, so data can stay within the selected jurisdiction. The platform also includes certifications and controls aimed at security, audit, governance and compliance requirements.
